Chip clips don't seal. This does.

Seals in one glide

Stays Crisp Longer

Less Food Waste

No Clips, No Folding

Travel Friendly

A clip presses. A seal closes.

A chip clip only touches the bag in two places. The folded plastic in between is never actually closed, so humidity walks straight past it — which is why a clipped bag goes soft on roughly the same schedule as one left open. A heat seal fuses the two inner faces of the bag into one continuous piece of plastic. There is no gap left to walk through.

How it works

Seal it, open it cleanly, and stop paying for food you throw away.

1

Seal it shut

Glide it along the edge of the bag. The heat-sealing element fuses the plastic shut rather than pinching it closed, helping keep air and moisture out so your snacks stay crisp for longer.

2

Open it clean

Flip it over to use the recessed blade. It cuts through packaging in a straight line, so you get a clean opening instead of a torn bag — and you lose millimetres of bag instead of inches.

3

Stop binning half bags

The bag you opened on Sunday is usually the one thrown out on Thursday. Sealing it properly is what keeps the second half worth eating.

4

Take it anywhere

Small enough for a kitchen drawer, a handbag or a glove box. Useful at home, and more useful on a camping trip where there is no outlet to plug anything into.

Questions, answered

What it works on, how it opens bags again, and what happens if it isn't right for you.

Still deciding?

Email support@vacuvelle.com and we'll answer honestly, including if it isn't the right tool for what you're sealing.

What bags does it work on?

It works on most common plastic snack packaging — chip bags, cereal liners, crackers, sweets, nuts and pet-treat bags. Very thick, foil-lined or non-heat-sealable packaging may not seal well, so it is worth testing on a spare bag first.

Does it really keep food fresh?

A clip only presses the bag in a couple of places, so the plastic in between is never actually closed and humidity gets straight past it. A heat seal fuses the bag shut instead, which is why a sealed bag stays crisp noticeably longer than a clipped one.

Can it open bags too?

Yes. The dual-purpose design features a recessed blade on one side that makes opening bags clean and effortless.

Is it portable?

It is compact and lightweight, so it fits a kitchen drawer, a bag or a glove box — handy for road trips, picnics and office snacks.
